Spaghetti Bolognese
A rich, slow-simmered Italian meat sauce tossed with al dente pasta. Pure comfort in a bowl.

Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef (80/20)
- 1/2 lb Ground pork
- 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium Carrot, finely chopped
- 1 Celery stalk
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 can (28 oz) Crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup Beef broth
- 1/2 cup Whole milk
- 1 lb Pappardelle pasta
Instructions
- In a large Dutch oven, sauté onions, carrots, and celery in olive oil until soft.
- Add ground beef and pork, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Pour in beef broth and simmer until mostly evaporated.
- Add crushed tomatoes, reduce heat to very low and simmer uncovered for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in milk and cook for another 15 minutes.
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Toss with sauce and serve with fresh parmesan.
