10-Minute Garlic Butter Shrimp
Plump, juicy shrimp seared in a rich garlic butter sauce with a burst of fresh lemon and parsley. The ultimate fast and elegant meal.

Ingredients
- 1 lb Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp (about 1/2 lemon) Lemon juice
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
- to taste Salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Pat the shrimp completely dry with paper towels. Season well with salt and black pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of the butter.
- Place the shrimp in the skillet in an even layer. Let them sear undisturbed for 1 minute until browned on the bottom.
- Flip the shrimp. Add the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes.
- Cook for 1 more minute, stirring continuously, until the shrimp are pink and opaque and the garlic is fragrant (do not burn the garlic).
- Remove the skillet from the heat immediately.
- Stir in the fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley. Toss the shrimp in the sauce to coat.
- Serve warm, spooning the extra garlic butter sauce over the shrimp.
